Summary
We are looking for an Advanced Dev Ops Engineer to build, manage, and optimize efficient infrastructure solutions within a fast-paced product development environment. In this role, you will empower multiple engineering teams by coding scalable infrastructure and ensuring that all deployments are secure, safe, and cost-effective. You will take ownership of your tasks, contributing to cloud optimizations, building self-service tools, and driving a culture of reliable and rapid software delivery.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
Proven experience managing and supporting cloud infrastructure in an agile or product-driven environment
Experience owning tasks related to infrastructure as code (IaC) and supporting continuous delivery pipelines
Track record of building tools or processes to assist cross-functional development teams
Key Responsibilities
Manage, implement, and deploy infrastructure change requests submitted by development teams efficiently and securely
Build and maintain self-service tools to facilitate seamless infrastructure modifications
Drive the continuous optimization, performance, and cost-improvement of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure system stability and reliability
Maintain and enhance the efficiency of software delivery pipelines across the engineering organization
Collaborate closely with the Security team on infrastructure-related projects to ensure compliance and safe practices
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience in several of the following areas:
Cloud Environments: Solid practical experience managing infrastructure in the cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong skills in Terraform, including writing and refactoring code into reusable modules and importing resources safely
Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deploying workloads and effective debugging
CI/CD & Delivery: Experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines
Observability: Practical experience using various monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system health
Nice to Have
Experience writing and refining Helm charts for Kubernetes package management
Exposure to Istio Service Mesh to address and resolve microservices networking challenges
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows
Experience configuring and maintaining pipelines using GitHub Actions
