Summary
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with strong React expertise to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance frontend applications.
In this role, you will act as a technical leader and strategic contributor, driving architectural decisions, influencing engineering standards, and ensuring the delivery of robust and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical implementations.
Beyond technical expertise, this role requires strong communication, proactivity, and ownership. You are expected to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and actively guide teams toward better outcomes.
Additionally, this is an AI-enabled engineering role. You should be comfortable leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to accelerate development, improve productivity, and enhance decision-making across the development lifecycle.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Professional Experience
• 8+ years of experience building software applications
• 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks and libraries
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
• Proven experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical leadership
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of scalable frontend architectures using React
• Drive technical decisions, best practices, and engineering standards
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Mentor engineers and support their technical and professional growth
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and solution design
• Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes and workflows
Technical Skills
Strong experience in several of the following areas:
• Frontend Development: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Architecture: Component design, state management, scalable frontend patterns
• APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, or gRPC
• Databases: SQL and data interaction patterns
• DevOps & Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Testing & Quality: Unit testing and quality assurance practices
• Security & Performance: OWASP, OAuth, caching, optimization techniques
• AI-Enabled Development: Practical use of AI tools to enhance productivity and engineering workflows
Soft Skills
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
• High level of proactivity and ownership — anticipates problems and drives solutions
• Ability to influence and guide technical decisions across teams
