Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing multiple projects within the organization. Orchestrating and optimizing project delivery. Ensuring seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams and driving the successful execution of software development cycle initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day project activities to meet business objectives, coordinating with a diverse team including designers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure tickets in Jira include background information and acceptance criteria so team members have the requirements needed to complete tasks.
• Monitor and enforce timelines related to ticket resolutions, align team planning with product sprints, and ensure project milestones are consistently met.
• Identify and address gaps and inefficiencies in current processes, collaborating with the team to implement continuous improvements.
• Develop and implement new processes to enhance team productivity and overall delivery efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison between the design team and the Technical Program Manager, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration within the team, product management, and external stakeholders.
• Partner with the project team to solve problems by balancing trade-offs and ensuring decisions are aligned with value delivery.
Qualifications
• Proven experience managing software projects, preferably in an agile, design-focused environment.
• Solid experience working across different types of software projects and managing varying levels of complexity.
• Strong understanding of Jira or similar project management tools, with a focus on the software development lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of the full SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment—regardless of methodology.
• Ability to manage dependencies and priorities, ensuring alignment across teams and projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Highly detail-oriented, value-driven, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
• Ability to multitask and manage concurrent projects effectively.
• Clear, concise communicator with a strong focus on transparency and accountability.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies, including Scrum, and familiarity with e-commerce technologies is a plus.
• Actively curious and engaged—asks questions to ensure work is fully identified, completed, and never relies on “magic” solutions.
