Data Analyst
Description
The Report Specialist role requires analytical, data product and business skills applied through the execution of data, including the development and creation of data content for use in data products and solutions. Report Specialists are responsible for data analysis, reporting, and technology implementations using industry leading principles, methodologies, and programs. These analytic activities are either product or solution based, designed for use by many clients, or the focus of a single client who requires custom research and data development to solve a specific business problem.
A Report Specialist works with the incoming data from clients and partners, reviews its viability and correctness for the analyses to be performed. Then, performs the necessary analyses to derive the output that becomes the deliverable to the partners and clients. This requires logic and critical thinking to ensure that formats are correct, the data makes sense in the context of the project, before beginning work. Once the analyses are completed but before delivering them, the Analyst needs to use those same skills to review the outputs and ensure that they too make sense.
Job Overview
You will be part of a team building post-advertising TV and Digital campaign reports for companies in a broad range of industries. You will provide client insights into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by using client Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data files, client transaction files, and exposure data, to do so, attention to detail as well as a strong understanding of statistics are a must. You should be curious and enthusiastic about data and have the necessary communication skills to explain your findings. We are seeking a Report Specialist with a versatile skill set to help our data-driven customers succeed.
Responsibilities
- Perform work according to set procedures (this work is routine and standard in execution).
- Work with other data analysts, software developers, project managers and engagement managers to complete the projects and move into a delivery environment.
- Maintain existing SQL/Python tools for post-advertising campaign reports generation.
- Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.
- Propose ways to improve the existing processes in terms of conceptualization and execution.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Computer Science) or related programs and 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the analytics or marketing/advertising industry.
Preferred
- High-level knowledge of data analysis and statistics
- Capable of contributing to complex projects
- High-level knowledge of appropriate software for data management, modeling or analysis
- High-level knowledge of the Information Continuum (structured to unstructured data)
- High-level knowledge of statistical theory (AB Testing, Regression, etc.)
- Experience in Marketing Science and campaign effectiveness analysis
