GAPsters are free to enjoy a fully remote work model, but we also offer a hybrid work model for GAPsters in Costa Rica and Colombia. Starting with your professional experience, the information should be detailed and concise — from the most recent to the oldest — including tasks, tools and learning outcomes. It is important to prioritize the quality of the content rather than the format or extension it is presented in.
Including a cover letter in a job application is not mandatory unless you want to provide additional information about your motivation to apply for the job. However, if you choose to include a cover letter, it's important to make sure that it is customized to the company and the specific job position.
Finally, pay attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation when writing. This will always make you look professional.

For development roles, some clients may like to receive the GitHub link with previous projects — it may be considered a plus — on the other hand, for creative roles such as Graphic Design or UI/UX, it's mandatory to provide a portfolio.

Sometimes, we receive positions for profiles that do not require experience, but those are not common in our company. To be successful in your interview, explore the tools that are popular in the area you want to develop and their uses. Study theoretical foundations and look for practical examples that can be applied in real life.
