Summary

We are looking for a Senior / Staff Automation QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. In this role, you will apply your deep technical expertise and strong analytical mindset to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies that ensure flawless user experiences.

You are an experienced professional recognized for your technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective communication. You thrive in collaborative environments, provide mentorship to other engineers, and play a key role in shaping technical quality standards and project success.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer.

Required Technical Skills

• Expertise in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
• Proven experience with frontend testing, both manual and automated, ensuring digital products meet exact design specifications (“pixel-perfect” validation) across browsers and devices.
• Ability to identify and document pixel-level or styling inconsistencies with precision.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress, including visual testing integration.
• Familiarity with visual regression tools (e.g., Percy, Applitools, Chromatic, or similar).
• Understanding of component-level testing in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Strong grasp of CSS behavior, layout principles, and responsive design.
• Experience executing manual test cases to validate usability and functionality.
• Collaboration mindset with developers and designers to maintain design and functional consistency.
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working with clients in the U.S. retirement or financial services industry, with familiarity in key business processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of performance testing, mobile testing, and data validation testing.
