Summary
We are looking for a Senior Rust Developer to help architect and build high-performance backend systems. You will work on core infrastructure, APIs, and performance-critical components, collaborating closely with product, data, and engineering teams. You’re recognized for deep technical expertise and for mentoring others, influencing architecture, and guiding decisions across the stack.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
Professional Experience
- 5+ years developing software applications.
- 3+ years of experience working with Rust in production environments.
Soft Skills
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Curious and proactive—always asking questions to ensure clarity.
- Skilled in mentoring, negotiation, and balancing trade-offs in technical decisions.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Rust, with a solid grasp of ownership, lifetimes, and concurrency.
- Additional proficiency in one or more of the following:
- .NET and C#
- Python
- AI inference in a self-hosted on-premise environment
- DICOM medical imaging compliant systems integration
- FDA 510(k) Software Medical Device compliant development experience
- Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with on-premise server deployments
- Experience with performance tuning, profiling, and optimizing low-level code.
- Experience with API development (REST, gRPC) and service integration.
- Strong competence in SQL / NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, parallelism, and asynchronous programming.
Nice to have skills
- Background in message brokers (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ) or event-driven architecture.
- Contributions to open source Rust projects or ecosystem libraries.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
